Unable to Create a C-Order for Repair
Unfortunately, on our custom transactions we use for repair, we don't always get clear error messages when something isn't working.
The two places to troubleshoot first are:
1. The equipment (make sure it isn't already on our stock for some reason) and,
2. The Notification (make sure something there isn't blocking order creation.
1. To check the equipment, we can use ZE02.
Enter the serial number(s) and pull up the equipment history.
Pull up the history with the "H" button on the top of the screen.
Here we can see the last event was a repair last year. Pulling up that repair via ZZRS, I can see that the equipment has a record of delivery back to the customer. So, the problem here isn't the equipment.
2. Next is to pull up the notification. We can do this via IW52 or IW53.
And, right away we can see the problem.
There's a bad partner. Pulling up the partners tab in the notification.
Review the customer either in SAP or Salesforce to determine if the customer is active.
